About me
My passion for hair began with me learning how to do my own hair and researching the best products for my hair type before i started the 7th grade. Which quickly evolved into doing hair for my family and friends. This hands on experience sparked a deeper interest and love for doing hair and led me to en-roll in hair school a few months after i graduated high school. I aspire to work in a salon full time where I can continue to grow my skills, learn from experienced stylists, and build lasting relationships with clients. I’m passionate about creating a positive experience for everyone who sits in my chair and being part of a supportive, creative team that inspires each other every day.
Personal interests
Outside of doing hair, I absolutely love exploring new things and challenging myself in different ways. Whether it’s trying out a new hobby, visiting a new place, or pushing myself out of my comfort zone, I enjoy the feeling of growth and discovery. I also love going on walks — they’re my way of clearing my mind, soaking up some fresh air, and finding inspiration. Journaling is another passion of mine, it helps me stay grounded and reflect on my day, my goals, and the things I’m grateful for. And of course, I have to mention my cats — I have two of them, and they mean the world to me! They’re my little companions, full of personality and affection, and I honestly can’t imagine my days without them.
Teamwork skills
Communication
Being able to express myself respectfully and listen to others prevents misunderstandings and helps the team stay in sync
Adaptability
Being flexible and open to change helps the whole team handle these situations smoothly
Positive attitude
I bring an upbeat and encouraging energy to the salon every day. I believe positivity is contagious, it helps create a welcoming environment for clients and keeps the team motivated, even during busy or challenging moments.
Time management
Respecting each other’s time (like keeping your station clean, finishing on schedule, or helping turn over the next client) shows professionalism and teamwork
Problem solving
Whether it’s managing a double booking or handling a client concern, being able to think quickly and work with your team to find solutions is essential.
Balancing school and day-to-day life has taught me a lot about time management and self-discipline. Between classes, assignments, and personal responsibilities, I’ve learned how to stay organized and prioritize what’s most important. I make sure to set aside time for both my education and my well-being, whether that’s studying, practicing new techniques, or taking moments to rest and recharge. Finding that balance has helped me stay motivated, focused, and confident in managing my responsibilities while still enjoying my personal life and the things I love to do.
During my time at school, I’ve had my ups and downs, but I’ve learned the importance of staying positive and not giving up. I focus on creating small, consistent habits that help me keep improving every day. Whether it’s practicing new skills, reflecting on what went well and what could be better, or seeking feedback from others, I approach everything with a mindset of growth. Staying persistent and optimistic allows me to overcome setbacks, and I’ve found that even small improvements accumulate over time, keeping me motivated and excited to tackle whatever comes next.
